I’m a lan­gu­age tea­cher but my real inte­rest focuses on translation.

A) Translations are bet­ter paid.

B) Translations are more fun. Especially if you have to translate a book, a film or a TV series because then the translation isn’t only about transla­ting pre­ci­sely what’s being said but it’s also about try­ing to cap­ture the cha­rac­te­ris­tics of the per­son who uses a cer­tain phrase.
